The overwhelming problem with getting involved in the combat against human trafficking is knowing where to start. Below you will find some of the ways to partner with the community.
The Salina Area Coalition for Trafficked Persons was formed in 2016. SACTP is a community of activists dedicated to bringing awareness, intervention and restoration to survivors of human trafficking.
Go Bags are small duffel bags with a few hygiene and clothing items that an officer gives a victim of human trafficking or domestic/sexual violence who is needing to quickly pack and flee an abusive situation or who has nothing.
We outreach in the Salina and Wichita communities to places where exploitation takes place. Outreach teams consist of trained individuals. You can partner by donating towards the purchase of gift items for outreach.
Fair trade insures that farmers or artisans are paid a fair wage for their goods or products. It also promotes safe and healthy working conditions, as well as sustainability for economically disadvantaged farmers and artisans in developing countries.
